The purpose of this meeting is to bring together the international experts on PK/PD modeling and control theory in anesthesia to evaluate the current state of the art and to develop a vision towards future applications of such methods and concepts in clinical routine. This meeting can be considered as follow-up of both the meeting in:
1998: 'Workshop on safe feedback control of anesthetic drug delivery.'
2002: 'Automation and Robotics: The Key For Computer Integrated Health Care Delivery'
